jengillen: i unjustifiably hate longboards; but this is sweet. Longboard hate is always justified…but I agree, this is a good one. Sidebar: One time we were skating at the Santee Park and Dirty Aussie was with us. Some kid on a longboard was getting in the way, skating around, whatevs. He rolled up to Dirty and said “ever skate the San Dieguito rail?” (That’s the blue one in the hallway that Tom Penny murdered and tons of other people used to skate.) Dirty said “yeah” and the kid’s reply was “on one of THESE?” Correct answer? “No, get the fuck outta here.” Ah so much hate in skateboarding back when it wasn’t cool. I miss those days sometimes, as fucked as that may be.
